The Palestinian International Organization for Peace and Human Rights (PIOPH) consists of several departments, each dedicated to achieving specific goals that fully support the organization’s vision and expand its scope of influence; these departments work in an integrated manner to cover core areas of work, including defending human rights, promoting social justice, supporting peaceful solutions to conflicts, raising awareness of the Palestinian cause among the international community, and achieving sustainable development.

Through these departments, we work as a bridge between our goals, humanitarian initiatives, and the real challenges facing our people.

 

Department of General Administration and Coordination

Executive Management: Developing the organization’s annual operational plans, following up on the implementation of activities and projects to ensure smooth workflow.

Preparing periodic reports on administrative and financial performance.

Human Resources Management: Formulating recruitment and training policies, formulating and managing the internal system for performance evaluation and employee motivation, and organizing workshops to build team capacity.

Financial Management: Preparing an annual budget, conducting periodic financial reports, managing bank accounts, controlling expenses, and seeking sustainable sources of funding and support.

Public Relations and Communication Management: Building a network of relationships with media professionals and institutions and supervising the production of media materials (newsletters, reports). Enhance the organization’s communication with the public and partners.

Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Department

Organizing training workshops on negotiation mechanisms, building partnerships with international mediators, and preparing policy papers and reports to be presented at international forums.

Educational Unit : Developing educational curricula on the culture of peace based on justice and the protection of human rights

Organizing community campaigns to spread the values ​​of tolerance and coexistence, launching youth initiatives to promote intercultural dialogue.

International Unit : Providing technical support to parties to conflicts; working with international organizations to enhance mediation efforts.

Preparing reports on peace opportunities and possible solutions.

Human Rights Department

Monitoring and Documentation : Documenting human rights violations through field reports and personal testimonies from our teams working in the Gaza Strip and the teams present at the crime scene, investigating and examining their details, using modern techniques to collect evidence and testimonies from eyewitnesses, such as photography and digital maps.

Legal support: providing free legal advice to victims, preparing legal files to be submitted to international courts.

Organizing workshops to educate people about their legal rights.

Human rights awareness and education: producing media materials (videos, publications) to raise awareness and organizing training courses for students and youth on international laws, and working with schools and universities to spread the culture of human rights.

Department of International Affairs

International Relations Management : Building partnerships with the United Nations and NGOs, coordinating participation in international conferences and events, and preparing letters and invitations to international partners to support the organization’s issues.

Managing international campaigns: launching global awareness campaigns via the internet and media, organizing peaceful marches and international demonstrations in support of Palestinian rights, and designing petitions and calls for collective action.

Management of international conferences and events: organizing international events to present the Palestinian cause, and preparing lecture and seminar programs with the participation of international experts.

Development and Projects Department

Supporting local communities: designing educational programmes for youth and women, providing health and social services in deprived areas where available, and supporting small community initiatives.

Project Financing: Prepare project proposals to attract donor funding, organize periodic meetings with funders to present progress, and develop strategies to ensure sustainable funding.

Evaluation: Analyze the impact of projects on the local community, make recommendations for improving future operations, and prepare transparent reports for donors and beneficiaries.

Media Department

Media and Press: Writing press releases and issuing news reports, covering the organization’s events and activities in the media, and communicating with local and international media.

Digital Platform Management: Updating the website with new and useful content, managing social media accounts and publishing daily posts, and interacting with the audience.

Production of audio-visual content: Production of media materials that highlight Palestinian issues, and development of short video clips for awareness campaigns.

Research and Studies Department

Political and Social Studies : Preparing in-depth research on the challenges facing Palestinians, providing comparative studies of conflict resolutions in other regions, and producing working papers to be used as a reference for decision-makers.

Legal Studies: Analyzing local and international laws related to the Palestinian issue, preparing studies on crimes against humanity and violations, and providing legal evidence to support the rights of Palestinians in international forums.

Strategic Evaluation : Develop strategic plans based on research, periodically analyze political and social developments, and submit recommendations reports to senior management.

Emergency and Humanitarian Support Department

 Emergency relief : distributing food and medical aid to those in need, establishing emergency teams to intervene in and manage natural disasters or crises, and coordinating relief efforts with international organizations.

Supporting displaced persons and refugees: providing psychological and legal support to refugees, implementing educational programmes for refugee children, and providing safe spaces for affected women and children.

Psychosocial Health: Providing psychological support sessions for victims, organizing workshops and activities to deal with trauma, and building social rehabilitation programs.

Membership and Volunteering Department

Membership Management: Develop programs to enhance member participation in activities, issue periodic newsletters to members about the organization’s activities, and manage the member database to ensure effective communication.

Volunteer management: providing training for volunteers on humanitarian work, coordinating volunteer work schedules according to the organization’s needs, and recognizing volunteer efforts through awards or certificates.

Laws and Compliance Department

Internal Policies Unit: Preparing clear organizational manuals and internal policies, ensuring that employees and volunteers comply with work rules, and monitoring administrative performance periodically.

International Compliance: Monitoring compliance with international and local laws, ensuring transparency of activities to donors, and reviewing contracts and partnerships to ensure their legality.
