According to satellite imagery analysis, 31,198 buildings were identified as destroyed, 16,908 as severely damaged and 40,762 as moderately damaged, bringing the total to 88,868 .
This represents approximately 35% of the total buildings in the Gaza Strip and an estimated 121,400 housing units affected.
Satellite imagery provides a comprehensive assessment of damage and destruction to buildings within the Gaza Strip area, based on images collected on 29 February, compared to images collected on 1 May 2023, 10 May 2023, 18 September 2023, 15 October 2023, 7 November 2023, 26 November 2023, and 6-7 January 2024.
On the level of the crimes of murder and destruction committed by the Israeli occupation army, the occupation forces continue to bomb homes over the heads of their residents, and to bomb gatherings that include thousands of displaced people, at a daily rate of about 135 martyrs and 350 wounded, which raised the death toll, since October 7, until the afternoon of November 11, 2024, to 39,922 martyrs, and 60,317 wounded, 80% of whom are women and children, according to reports from the Ministry of Health and studies by international human rights organizations.
Since October 7, Israel has escalated its campaign of arrests and violations against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, coinciding with the imposition of “retaliatory” measures against prisoners .
According to the latest official statistics issued by the Palestinian Prisoners Club , the Israeli authorities have arrested more than 2,920 Palestinians since the start of the war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, while the number of prisoners in prisons has reached about 7,000. The Prisoners Club indicates that the data remains approximate and variable as a result of the ongoing arrest campaigns. The arrest campaign is accompanied by widespread abuse, severe beatings, field investigations, and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread acts of vandalism and destruction in citizens’ homes, and acts of terrorizing and threatening citizens.
The number of arrests since October 7 has reached more than 2,920, most of them in the Hebron Governorate in the southern West Bank, including about 100 women, according to the Prisoners Club .
There are no accurate data on the number of child arrests, but the Addameer Human Rights Association said in a statement on Sunday that Israel arrested 200 children during the mentioned period, and 40 journalists were arrested, 30 of whom were kept in detention. The number of administrative detention orders after October 7 reached 1,464, including new and renewal orders, especially the large number of civilian men, women and children who were recently arrested in Gaza. The numbers are not yet known.
